Using your license on more than one Mac

Yes — a single Specter Pro license can be activated on up to two Macs. That covers the common setup of a laptop and a desktop without needing a second purchase. Each machine you activate takes one of the two slots.

If you need to move your license to a different Mac — you have replaced a machine, or you are at the two-activation limit — deactivate it on a machine you are no longer using first. You can do that from Specter’s License settings, or with ghost-sync license deactivate from the command line. Deactivating frees the slot, and you can then activate on the new Mac normally. There is nothing to email about for an ordinary machine swap.
