These are plain-language terms for Specter, sold by aabergkvist AB (trading as Brilliant Rebels). Replace or expand this with reviewed legal copy before launch.

Seller: aabergkvist AB · Swedish company reg. 559317-4948 · VAT SE559317494801 · Stålverksgatan 1, 302 50 Halmstad, Sweden. Payments are processed by Paddle as merchant of record.

License

Spectersync Core is an annual subscription ($99/year) that grants you a personal license to use the official app on your own Mac(s), subject to the activation limit shown at checkout, for as long as your subscription is active. The subscription renews automatically each year until you cancel. The open-source project is available separately on GitHub under its own license.

Subscription, renewal, and cancellation

Your subscription renews automatically at the then-current annual price unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time; your Pro access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which paid official-app features stop renewing. Your content is unaffected — it remains as plain files on your own disk.

Refunds

Spectersync Core is non-refundable. You can cancel at any time to stop future renewals; your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. Because the open-source engine lets you run the full workflow before purchasing, we do not offer refunds on the paid subscription. This does not affect any rights you may have under mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Specter only with Ghost, Shopify, or WordPress sites you control or are authorized to manage. You are responsible for backups of your content.

Warranty

Specter is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, aabergkvist AB is not liable for data loss; always keep backups of your posts.
