Do I get updates?

Yes. Every update is included while your Spectersync Core subscription is active — fixes, improvements, new features, and new CMS connectors, all at no extra cost beyond your $99/year.

Updates arrive through the app’s built-in auto-update, so you do not have to watch for releases or download anything by hand. When a new version is available, Specter offers to update itself; you approve, and it handles the rest. You can stay pinned to a known-good version if you prefer — updates are never forced.

This is part of what the subscription funds: the connectors and the app keep getting maintained as Shopify, WordPress, Ghost, and macOS change, so your sync keeps working year after year. If you cancel, you keep Pro until the end of the period you’ve paid for, then uploads lock again — your content stays as plain files on your disk either way.
